PREPARATION OF NEW SERIES OF TETRADENTATE SCHIFF BASE COMPLEXES AND STUDING THEM SPECTROSCOPICALLY, BIOLOGICALLY AND THEORETICALLY

چکیده

This new Schiff base ligand (L) were prepared from condensation reaction of 3-amino-4-(1-methoxy-1-oxo-3-phenylpropan-2-ylamino)-4-oxo butanoic acid(aspartame) with 4-(dimethyl amino benzaldehyde). A series complexes divalent, trivalent and tetravalent ions prepared. The the cobalt, nickel, copper, palladium, platinum gold have been characterized by several techniques such as C.H.N.O, FT-IR, molar conductivity, UV– visible, magnetic moment, 1H-NMR 13C-NMR. Experimental findings demonstrated that formed tetra-dentate coordination metal ions. biological activity was studied using two types gram positive Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, negative bacteria E. coli, Klebsiella one type fungi candida at a concentration 0.02 M. results showed are more effective than standard drug in fungi. ratio method used to calculate ligand. experimental proven its interaction (1:1). Additionally, hyper-Chem 8.0.7 program binding energy heat formation ligand(L) all complexes, addition calculating vibration frequency ligand, also HOMO LUMO.
